I found it time-consuming to apply concealer before foundation. Why? Because i have to re-apply the concealer if it is erased when i blend my foundation out. So, now i just put concealer after foundation. It's easier to blend with your foundation on, i don't have to re-apply it and i get more even coverage of blemishes, dark spots or pimples and even the under eye area. But do not practice this if you are using color-correcting concealer (such as green, yellow, purple, orange etc) on your dark circle. Or you will get patches of colors!
Remember the key point of applying concealer:
- under the eye (dark circle)
- sides of your nose and mouth (to cover the redness if any)
- Nose bridge (highlight and give you nose slimmer look)
- Brow bone (highlight and to prime before putting on highlighting shades)
- dark spots, blemishes or pimples etc (yeah, cover it!)
- Visible veins on your face area! (if your foundation can cover this, skip this!)
- Never put too much and make sure your blend it well!
My favourite concealer so far: Maybelline's Angel Fit Concealer in Natural Beige
