Make up is the art of beauty. It enhances the natural beauty and conceal imperfections. it doesn't matter how people define it, what's matter is how you apply it. You don't want to look like a cheap prostitue with cakey and sloppy blue eyeshadow. Blending is the key and less is more.
1)Foundation:
Foundation should be as close as your natural skin colour. One tone lighter than your skin colour is acceptable, however you must remember to BLEND it! There's many type of foundation out there: cream, mousse, gel and compact powder. Cream foundation is the most common type of foundation. This foundation however does not suit people with oily skin. The thicker the foundation texture, the harder it is to blend and prone to breakout. Test the texture on your inner part of your wrist before you buy. Feel it and see how it blends. You can use either sponge or foundation brush to blend it. You can always use your hands but it is harder to blend with bare hands. Mousse foundation usually has medium to full coverage depending on it's texture. It can be thick, liquidy or foamy type. It can be very oily and cause breakout. Gel foundation has almost the same texture with cream foundation, the difference is that gel foundation usually more liquidified. Gel type blends the best because of it's texture. However, you can expect less coverage than cream or mousse type. You can apply more for better coverage but keep it blended so that it won't look so cakey. Powder foundation usually comes in compact powder form. It is easier to apply but it won't give the best coverage. It is suitable for oily and combination skin as it will matify the skin but it is not for dry skin as it will make the skin look patchy and dry.
2) Concealer:
To conceal dark circles under the eyes, blemishes, pimples and spots. Concealer has heavier pigment than foundation so it can hide imperfections. Remember to BLEND! So that it will look even with your skin tone and look more natural. Concealer is available in a variety of shades, from lightest to deepest. Some colors are intended to look like a natural skin tone, while others are meant to contrast with a particular type of blemish. White can be used to blur dark circles or bruising, and to brighten dull skin. Green and blue can counteract red patches on the skin, such as those caused by pimples, broken veins, or rosacea. A purple-tinted concealer can make sallow complexions look brighter. Colored concealers such as these are usually applied sparingly beneath a concealer or foundation that matches the wearer's skin tone. Skin-toned concealers are not only the most common type, but are often sufficient on their own at hiding or blurring imperfections.
3) Loose powder vs compact powder:
Set your foundation and concealer so that it will last longer and won't run. It can also matify your skin. Loose powder looks more natural as it is lighter than compact powder. Best application is by kabuki brush or powder brush. Compact powder has heavier texture so it won't look as natural as loose powder. However it lasts longer than loose poowder. Compact powder will give fully matte finish. Another alternative is to use translucent powder. Translucent powder is transparent to the skin, preserving the natural skin colour. It will absorb excess oil from the foundation and concealer. So it is an anti-shine weapon!.
4) Blush:
Blusher depending on colour will add some colour to your cheek and make you look healthier and radiant. Sweep it up the cheek bone to give your face extra lift. Or on the hollow of your cheek to contour your face to look thinner. Or on the apple of the cheeks to give a rounder cheeks effect. Experiment on your cheek to find out the difference. Matte blush vs shimmer blush? Matte blush will add a hint of colour to your cheek naturally. Just use a fair amount or your end up looking like having terrible sunburn. Shimmer blush will add some colour and glow to your skin. Don't put too much or your face will look like it is oily.
5) Mascara:
Curl your lashes with curler before you apply mascara. This will give your lashes a lift. The mascara can add some lenght to your lashes or volumizing it. Just choose the right one for you. Opt for kohl mascara for super black lashes or brown for natural looking. There are many types of mascara wand. I personally prefer the wand with straight brushes as this type of mascara can separate the lashes better than those with curves.
6) Eyeshadows:
Too many eyeshadows out there. You can play with colours as long as it is suitable with your skin colour and agaiin BLEND it! Harsh line is a big NO NO. You can use brushes or you fingers to apply it. Matte eyeshadow or shimmer eyeshadow? It's depending on you and how you apply it and BLEND it. Who says you cannot use shimmer eyeshadow during daytime? Shimmer eyeshadow can give your eyes healthy glow day and night. Just choose subtle colour during the day.
7)Lipstick:
I'm not a fan of lipstick. I do own lipstick but seldom wear one. I usually go for nude colour or reddish colour. But remember to choose the one that is suitable with your skin tone. Classic red however suits all skin types. Test it at the inner part of your wrist first before you buy it.
This is a basic make up tips. And as i said before, BLENDING is the key. Another thing is to face natural light when you apply your make up so that your make up is even!
Note: This is my basic knowledge of make up. I'm a self taught in make up.

Hada Labo SHA (White Range) Review
I had purchased Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid (White Range) cleanser and lotion 2 weeks ago.. This product is totally awesome...I bought it at local watson store with special promotion price: RM58 for both cleanser and lotion.
Super Hyaluronic Acid forms a smooth, moisture locking shield to replenish and retain essential moisture of the skin. Super Hyaluronic Acid has twice the moisture retention capacity of Hyaluronic Acid (1gm of Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold up to 6 liters of water). It also has the ability to mimic skin’s natural moisturizing ability to enhance water retention of the stratum corneum. Skin stays lastingly hydrated and feels smoother, suppler and more radiant.

The products claim to be :
Cleanser
- Texture: creamy white, lather up well with water
- Smell: No fragrances, just a hint of fresh smell
This cleanser is very moisturizing. After rinsing it off, my face become smoother and feel so moisturized. It is also gentle on my face and it leaves my skin refreshed. My complexion now better and my skin texture is now more even. Less pimple now. It helps to calm down the redness of pimple and slowly get rid of it. Cleanse deep into the pore, less blackhead!
Lotion
- Texture: watery clear fluid
- Smell: No fragrances
The lotion is actually the toner. But instead of using cotton pad,i only need to put it in my palms and just gently pat it on my face until it is absorbed. While patting it on, i can feel my skin is bouncing back with moisture. It feel so nice on my face. The patting actually improve blood circulation to your face so it can absorb more moisture.
(Then i continued my face regime my usual Za milk moisturizer.)
Overall: The products work well with my skin. A little bit pricey (original price for cleanser is rm28 and lotion is rm 36). But definitely worth buying.
p/s: everyone is different. what works on me, might not work on you. this is just my point of view. :)

Oatmeal cleanser by Bubzbeauty Review..
I have been using this cleanser for months now and i am still amazed by the way it clearing my skin from pimple, scars and blemishes. It is cheap, simple to use and WORKS AMAZINGLY!
How to make it:
1. Take a handful of oatmeal. I have tried organic oatmeal and instant oatmeal (Quaker Oats). It's easier with instant oatmeal as it is softer and not too harsh on your skin.
2. With the oatmeal in your palm, clench a fist and run it under warm water for 10 seconds. Make sure that the oatmeal is thoroughly wet.
3. Use it like a normal cleanser. massage your face for 2 minutes and rinse it off.
Easy, right? Click the link below if you want to see how Bubzbeauty did it.
Results:
1. Smoother skin
2. Less pimple
3. Reduce the scar
4. brightening and make my face glow
Whilst rinsing the face, I can already feel my skin feeling silkier. My face looked glowy, radiant and smooth. Unlike a lot of cleansers, this won't dry out your face or irritate your skin. It works wonders!
How it works:
Do you know that oatmeal is an incredible cleanser for the skin? It has the ability to relieve itchiness, redness, dryness and minor irritations. It absorbs and removes dirt & impurities whilst exfoliating the skin gently without all the harmful chemicals (found in a lot of our skincare products). It also helps the skin to fight against free radicals because it's so abundant in anti-oxidants.
How I review it:
It works! It's cheap! What else can I ask.. It won't clear the scar instantly though. It will take time to regenerate new cells. The only thing i don't really fancy is it can be messy. It takes time to rinse it off totally. But i enjoy rinsing it off anyway. Coz i can feel my skin much smoother!

Girls rock!
Being a girl, i know what it's like to be a girl. But not 1 second in my life i hated to be born as a girl. I love being girl, i love girls. I want to share with the world what it's like to be a girl and what is like to love beautiful things and enjoy the art of beauty. But it's not always about the beauty, it is also about the brain. "“You can do anything you put your mind to, and you can do it in stilettos.” ― Kimora Lee Simmons. Yeah, it's the Ms Fabulous saying.
Most people say (the boys of course..), girls are complex and barely to be understood human being. Just like this quote: "Girls. You never know what they're going to think.(J. D. Salinger)". Well, it's half true. Boys can't never understand girls. But girls do understand each other.
So, here i am. Sharing about Make ups, fashion, trends, blogs and sites, DIY and anything about girls.
