Za Total Hydration Dewy Moisturizer (Review)

Hello hello my sweet cupcakes....

I was out of my Za True White Emulsion a couple weeks ago.  So I went to Watson to repurchase it.  But there were new Za products in pink on the shelf: The Total Hydration range! Well, I couldn't resist the cute pink products.  I thought maybe the moisturizers are good and no harm trying.  So I tested the Total Hydration Dewy Moisturizer out (Watson always have testers. Yay for that!!).  And I fell in love with it at that moment!  This is how it looks like:

Za Total Hydration Dewy Moisturizer

Za Total Hydration Dewy Moisturizer

Price: RM26+ for 150ml ( I can't remember the exact price.)

Texture: Water-based moisturizer.  Almost have water consistency.  Really watery but light enough and non-sticky.  Well, it's water based.  I am using the 'water' word in every sentence to emphasize the watery condition.  Lol

Smell: Really fresh fragrant smell.  Smells something like aqua water with flowers.  I can't describe it more.

What it claims to do: This moisturizer relieves stickiness and thouroughly replenishes moisture to give the skin a clarified glow and vibrancy.  Light and refreshing texture.  For skin that tends to feel sticky

What it claims to have:
  • Amino acid complex
  • Sebum-holding powder
  • Prism enhancer
  • Vitamin B derivatives
I found it:
  • Very moisturizing.  I've been using it for couple of weeks now and my face feels hydrated throughout the day.  I used this after Hada Labo lotion.  So the moisturizing effect doubled.  My skin texture become smoother and somewhat more vibrant and bouncy after using this moisturizer.
  • Very light and non-sticky.  Due to its water-based texture,  the moisturizer absorbed tight through my skin right away.  I always gently pat my moisturizer onto my face though for better absorption.  After application,  my skin still feel light and not sticky.
  • Refreshing. I love the smell.  My face feel so fresh and hydrated.
  • Needs only few drops to work wonders.  This is the best part! I only use 2 drops! Like this:
  • Has cute pink design.  I love pink.  Should i say more?
Two drops on my hairy hand! Lol

See how watery this product is!

Verdict:  I'm over my Za True White Emulsion.  This moisturizer beat it!  It's cheaper than True White Emulsion (RM35+)  or Hada Labo Milk Lotion (RM50+) but it works even better! Love it!

Za Total Hydration Moisturizer also comes in Milky and Rich.  You can always test it out first to find out which one suit your skin type. Milky is for skin that tends to feel greasy and flaky.  Rich is for very dry skin.

I also tried The Amino Mineral Gel.  It's really hydrating and refreshing! Hydration in 10 sec! I'm not bluffing! Go check them out.

The Liebster Award 2012

The Liebster Award 2012!

The lovely Jess nominated me for the Liebster award! The basic gist is that the award is given to bloggers who have less than 200 followers.
So, here are the rules:

1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves
2. Answer the questions the tagger has set you plus create 11 questions for the people you've tagged to answer
3. Choose up to 3 people and link them in your post
4. Go to their page and tell them!
5. You cannot tag back ;)

11 things about myself:

1. I'm short and petite.  Whenever i go out with casual t-shirts and shorts, people always think i'm underage.  Cinema patrons always stop me to check my age whenever i try to watch R-rated movies.
2. I am currently trying to lose some weight. Bikini body!
3. I love books and comics.
4. I hate being massaged.  There's one time i went for a foot reflexology, the lady was so strong and the whole session was hell.  Its ended up with bruises all over my calves!
5. I have a big issue with my temper.  I need an anger management.
6. I love short dresses and sky-high heels.  They make me look taller and well like a grown up.
7. I have 9 siblings.  Happy crowded family.
8. I can cook and bake.
9. My current craze is Hello Kitty stuffs and chunky rings.
10. My health is always a problem to me.  In the last six months, i had been admitted once and did endoscopy, broke my toes and many visits to specialists.
11.
My biggest hate on my job is doctors.  Half of them are nasty and super annoying.

Here are the questions that Jess has asked me:

1. What is your favourite makeup brand?
- I don't have any.  I pretty much favour any makeup that works well.

2. Do you have any pets?
- I have 1 cat, 1 bunny, 1 Syrian Hamster, 2 Roboroski Hamsters.  It only takes 1 monkey to complete the zoo. :)

3. What is your favourite food?
- Crabs! Even though i allergic to it, i just love crabs.  I always eat anti-histamine before eating though.

4. If you could only have one, which type of skincare item would you have?
Facial Wash. I cannot stand oily and sticky face.

5. Why do you blog?
I love sharing about beauty and make ups.  A good product worth to be complimented.  A bad one will make a good experience.

6. Tea or Coffee?
Tea.  I love green teas. Coffee makes me sick.  Literally sick.

7. Which other country would you most like to visit?
Japan.  They have beautiful cultures and amazing techs.

8. Do you buy most of your makeup online or in store?
In store.  I need to test it before i buy it.  The only things that i bought online were my Sigma Brushes and cheap tools from BuyInCoins.

9. What is your favourite film?
I am such an indecisive person.  I can't decide. I'm a movie freak. Maybe, Pirates of Caribbean.

10. Can you play a musical instrument?
No. I can sing though. Lol

11. Neutral, Smokey or Bright eyes?
-  Tricky question.  Depends on occasions and my outfit.  Mostly, bright eyes I guess.

These are the questions for the person I nominate:

1. What is your favourite makeup brand?
2. Waterproof mascara or non-waterproof?
3. What is your biggest make up trick?
4. If you can only have one make up, what would it be?
5. What is your favourite colour?
6. Who is your favourite blogger?
7. Which other country would you most like to visit?
8. Are you an animal lover? Have any pets?
9. Are you afraid of the dark?
10. Do you love reading. If so, what's your favurite book?
11. What skincare products are you using now?

I enjoy reading Qasrina's blog, I want, i buy, i talk.  She write good reviews on make ups and skin cares.  So she's my nomination.^^

The Balm: Nude 'Tude Palette Review

I bought this palette few days ago at Sasa for only Rm89 (original price: Rm115).  I've been longing for this palette for so long.  Lovely design and great colors! Consist of 12 colors. 4 matte eye shadows and 8 shimmery colors.

With flash.  From left: Sassy, Snobby, Stubborn, Stand-offish, Selfish, Sultry, Sophisticated, Seductive, Sexy, Silly, Serious and sleek.

Without flash
As you can see from the swatches, the eye shadows are quite pigmented.  The shimmer eye shadows are very rich with shiny glittery shimmers. Pretty and eye-popping! The first 4 colors are really good for highlighting the inner corners and brow bone area and wherever you want to highlight.  It took only 1 swipe for the shimmer colors to show up.
  • 'Sassy' - white shade.  Use it on the inner corner and brow bone for highlight.  Rich in pretty shimmers!
  • 'Snobby' - pale yellow shimmery shade.  When swiped, it shows up as a light golden color which is very pretty.  Good for highlight or natural eye make up.  Brighten up the eyes. Great for summer make up.
  • 'Stubborn' - pearly pale pink shade.  Use as highlight or as a base for other eyeshadows.  Use it alone for a bright looking eyes.
  • 'Stand-offish' - pale peachy shade.  Very rich in shimmers. Best for highlighting the inner corner!
  • 'Selfish' - Light greyish brown shade. Recommended for natural eye make up.
  • 'Sophisticated' - dark greyish brown.  When swiped, it shows as a deep dark brown with pearly details.
  • 'Seductive' - Bronze shade.  This one is very pretty.  Use it alone for Korean eye make up or use it together with darker shades to create a pretty smokey eyes.
  • 'Silly' - Exciting dark brown shade with reddish shimmers. Combine together with 'sexy' shade, it will make a pretty vampirish eye make up!  Smokey eyes all the way.

The 4 matte eye shadow are dark toned.  The texture is soft for easy blending.
  • 'Sultry' is a light brown shade which is great for contouring.  The color is not heavy and blend very well.
  •  'Sexy' is a rich mahogany brown shade.  Pretty cool and make a great shade for smokey eyes.  Better for gothic and sexy vampire look!
  •  'Serious' is a kohl black color.  Great for eye-lining and dark smokey eyes! It is very dark and blend easily for a smudge up smokey look.
  •  'Sleek' is dark brown shade. Darken up the creases with this color and you will have deeper creases! Would make a great color for crease-cut eye make up!
Verdict: Great colors and fun design! Love the colors.  Great for travelling. Combine and play around with the colors! You can create from light natural eye make up to heavy smokey eyes with this palette.

Sasa on sale!

Good news for everyone! Sasa is now on sale. From 10%-50% discounts or buy 1 free1, this is a great deals! I bought the Balm Nude 'Tude palette yesterday for only Rm89 instead of Rm115!

The Nude 'Tude palette

I've been wanting this 12 colors palette by the Balm for so long until i got my hands on it yesterday.  The design was quirky and caught my attention.  The colors are just great and i love it! Very pigmented too.  I will make a full review of this palette later.

Other than that, i also bought a Sexy Girl sun protector with SPF 50+ .  I love this spray type sun block.  It is very handy and mess-free. It also has this sweet peachy scent and a lil bit of shimmers that will make your skin glow. Perfect for my upcoming beach holiday.  Original price was rm54.80.  After a 30% discount, it's only rm38.40!

The other stuff i bought is Cyber colors 24hrs eyebrow pencil. It has triangle shape for easy drawing and a spoolie at the end.  Very handy.  The color was not too heavy so it won't make the eyebrows look fake.  It claims to be long lasting.  I don't know yet.  Will try it first and maybe do a review about it.  It is only rm27.90 after 20% discount.

Sally Hansen moisturising nail polish remover.  I tried it today and i must say, it works great. Very nice scent and remove the polish fast and gently! My nails are not dry at all.  Rm14.30 after 10% discount. I can say this is the best nail polish remover i've ever used.

Sasatinnie brightening cleansing water.  At rm34.90 and buy 1 free 1, i can say that it's pretty good for removing make ups and leave your face fresher.  But it's not good for water-proof mascara and probably all water-proof stuffs.  It barely removes the mascara and i have to rely on my L'oreal make up remover for that purpose.  I should have buy the Hada Labo cleansing oil instead! Sigh~ The SA influenced me to buy this product, and it is a lesson for me.  Should have trust my instinct.  Nevermind, it's a pretty good deal though.  and maybe i can use this to spot cleaning my brushes.
