Sephora Brightening & Hydrating foundation (Review)

I got this foundation well  from Sephora.

Color: medium (apricot beige)

Price: rm65

Packaging:
Pump mechanism glass tube (20ml)

What it claims to have:
Hydro-smooth hyaluronic acid. And with that i was attracted to buy it!

What it claims to do:
Hydrates all day long. Brightens and smoothes for a fresh & luminous complexion. Oil free* (the asterisk stands for : non formulated with mineral oil). Long lasting. dermatologically tested. Non comedogenic. Fragrance free.

Here come the swatch:

Sephora's Brightening & Hydrating Foundation

Sorry for the hairy hands! Lol..

Texture: smooth liquid foundation.  you can see from the picture that the foundation is not thick at all! Blended easily to the skin. Fall in love for that!

Smell: typical foundation smell. Still ok to my nose's liking.

I found it:
  • Moisturizing?  Hell yes! Kudos for that.
  • Has medium coverage.Good job in covering redness and mild spots on my face. Make my face look rather smooth.
  • Can be blended easily. I used my hands to apply foundations coz it's easier that way.
  • pumping mechanism awesome! I can control how much product i want!
  • Not as brightening as it claims. However, it's a perfect match to my skin tone and I don't want my face to look brighter than my other body parts. Fuhhh!
  • No mineral oil? Good! :)
Verdict: It's my favourite foundation so far. I love the moisturizing effect. I love every bit of it.  Yay!

Here's what i found in Sephora's website:
It seems like it comes with different name : Instant Radiance Foundation

What it is:
An oil-free foundation that instantly brightens and moisturizes the skin for a flawless complexion.

What it does:
Flatter your natural features with this lightweight foundation, enriched with hyaluronic acid to instantly brighten and hydrate for a radiant complexion. The light-reflecting pigments visibly erase signs of fatigue and soft focus imperfections and an energizing cocktail of pomegranate and kiwi extracts provide the skin with nourishing, reparative vitamins. The featherweight texture provides buildable coverage and your face will feel smooth and naturally beautiful all day.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Synthetic Fragrances

What else you need to know:
This formula is non-comedogenic and tested under dermatological control. Choose the correct foundation color for you:
-Pink complexion: Opt for beige
-Yellow complexion: Choose beige with pink undertones
-Olive complexion: Avoid beige, which dulls the complexion, and choose mat beige with apricot undertones
The SA never tell me this! No wonder my face not brightened up! Lol)

  1. Thank you for posting the ingredients list for this foundation! I have bought it today, and totally agree with your review! I don't know why they did not put an ingredient list on the product (I live in France).
    Thanks again!
